Corey McGuire Joins Metrum Technologies as Director of Business Development

WACO, TEXAS (September 16, 2008) – Metrum Technologies, a leading developer of cellular based AMI and endpoint automation technologies, has announced that Corey McGuire has joined the company as Director of Business Development. Working closely with the Metrum sales organization, McGuire will lead the development of industry relationships, best practices and processes to leverage Metrum’s cellular-based, endpoint connectivity technology.
Prior to Joining Metrum, McGuire served as General Manager - Personal Energy Management at CellNet + Hunt, a leading supplier of AMI and Smart Grid technology, where he was responsible for executing the product strategy for energy efficiency and demand response. Prior to CellNet+Hunt, he was a Senior Product Manager at Hunt Technologies, Inc., where he led a variety of management assignments, including: contract frame work, customer relations and business development. In addition, McGuire spent 11 years at Schlumberger in product marketing and management.

McGuire holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science from Purdue University in Physics.
